Sundance regular and award-winning director Sebastián Silva comes back once again to the 2016 festival edition, this time with a short.

'La Nana' put Silva on the list of Latin American filmmakers to watch and he has not let audiences anc critics down. The film went to receive a nod for the Golden Globes in the best foreign language film category and won many other prizes at other festivals in the U.S., France, Peru, Spain, Colombia and his natal Chile.
In 2013 he competed again at Sundance with 'Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus,' which won him a directing award also in World Cinema-Dramatic. Several other full features by Silva have also screened at Sundance out of competition.
