(T)ERROR, a Sundance Award-winning documentary, is screening at various locations and festivals across the U.S. this month. Directed by Lyric Cabral and David Felix Sutcliffe, the documentary is a daring film that managed to capture an FBI sting operation as it happened and apparently without the Bureau's knowledge. It features an FBI informant, Saeed Torres, reportedly working on an anti-terrorism case. The undercover op resulted in the arrests of people with charges unrelated to terrorism—hence, the name of the film with the letter "T" in parenthesis to highlight the possibility of mistakes by government agencies. (T)ERROR won the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Break Out First Feature this year at Sundance. The film will screen at the New York IFC Film Center on Oct. 7 and the Dallas Video Fest on Oct 16. It will be screened also in commercial movie theaters of Dearborn, Michigan, Houston, Texas, and Peoria, Illinois. Furthermore, the doc will also be shown at the London Film Festival on Oct. 10 ad 12. For times and tickets, click here. MORE ON (T)ERROR Official trailer
